How's the quality of Ikea furniture and other products? This is the first time that I see some solar powered lamp and they look pretty neat.

I have no experience with the solar lamps. But I wonder if it will work well under a dark environment, like in a dark room like basement or rooms without windows.

Some of the Ikea's stuff is cheap, but they definitely won't last long.

Here are some things you don't want to buy from Ikea.

For young couple, Ikea is good deal because of affordable price plus attractive home furnishings that they carry.

I personally think Ikea is a good deal, and if you have a good sense of what YOU think will last then you should be just fine shopping there. I have stuff from Ikea that has definitely lasted the years. Just like anything, though, you need to take care of it.

I also like Ikea and think their products are pretty good at affordable prices. I have several items from Ikea and they have held up nicely. I like their sleek modern design and retro look.

Ikea is great for those who do not want to spend a lot of money for something that looks nice and suits the purpose. Those who have money to burn or space on their cc. will shop at the high end stores. As long as it is functional and looks great, you save money. Ikea products like anything else will last if taken care of properly.

They definitely have some stuff that's worth the price - I would stay away from the cheaper furniture but they do have some really nice desks and chairs that are pricey, but still cheaper than from a name brand furniture store. I've had great luck with the kitchen accessories and organizational products, they're cheap, effective, and very unique!
