Salmon spawn in shallow pools while eagles soar up river and feed. In all the forest is alive Camouflaged under a canopy of 220 footDouglas Fir trees on 6.2 acres of virgin old growth the cabin is surrounded by the Olympic National Forest and adjacent to the Buckhorn Wilderness area. Situated 75 feet above the river acres of ferns and berries adorn the valley floor in this thriving symbiotic environment.As the last residence in the Dungeness Watershed this secluded cottage attains privacy and exclusivity. Indoors the open living area features an inclusive arrangement . Cosy yet spacious this 22 x 20 Douglas Fir Stave styled log cabin incorporates kitchen and dinning area with built in three poster log bed. The queen sized canopy bed also functions as a hidden storage unit. Added warmth and comfort is achieved with an 1876 Round Oak wood stove.Exterior logs are log oiled and rope chinked with a new roof and skylights recently replaced. Every effort and care has been made to protect and enhance the natural beauty and structure of the building.
