Daylight Basement Apartment

Cute daylight basement apartment with kitchen, 3/4 bath, gas frplace, optnl prvt entrance. French doors pictured close between the kitch/bath and the living/sleeping space. Ceilings are 6'3", doorway is 5'8" so, discrimination not intended, short is good. Daylight basement also houses laundry, a 1/2 bath and more common space. Apt is unfurnished. Utilities will be divided equally (per person). You would share the washer/dryer and organically gardened yard and would be welcome to join the rest of the house for dinner etc.
We currently consist of a fashion design student, a student in policy writing intent on drafting policy relating to HIV+ women in Africa, an arborist with training in computer graphics/design, a Certified arborist/carpenter/J of all trades that is degreed in Social Work, one Blue Heeler and 2 cats. (Sorry no room for more pets) We are a variety of ages and hail from different parts of the country.
This sunny house is located within walking distance of several grocery stores, the library, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and major bus lines. The house is surrounded by a beautiful perennial garden that contains a cherry tree, a plum tree, 2 apple trees, a grapevine, raspberries, some cooking herbs and with the ongoing renovation of the garden, more veggies. Im an organic gardener, so it is always safe to pluck something from the yard and eat it fresh.
We’re looking for a positive, eco-friendly, stable and responsible person who is good at communicating and negotiating their needs while being respectful of others. Although we may all have busy schedules, We hope to have a household that is welcoming for shared meals, the occasional gathering of friends/family and evenings spent hanging out with our house mates. In short, we hope to build a fun, cooperative and peaceful home.
