From the apartment (address = 105 Belleville Avenue, Belleville NJ) to UMDNJ in Newark: Take the NJ Transit #13 bus from the corner of Washington Ave and Belleville Ave (a 2 minute walk from the apt building) to Broad Street and Market Street (in Newark) and then transfer to the NJ Transit #34 bus which will take you directly toright to UMDNJ in Newark.

It is only a 2 minute walk to the NYC BUS bus stop from the apartment! You can take the DeCamp Busline # 44 (see http://www.decamp.com/ for more details) which is just a 25 minute bus ride to 'Port Authority' Bus Station in NYC! This bus stop is at the corner of Belleville Avenue and Washington Avenue.
